I am eclectic Jill of all trades. I figure I can do anything I put my mind to, and if I can’t do it, then I can learn how to do it.

I enjoy writing, soap making, sewing, collecting buttons (I only have about 8 gallons so far…so I need more), and crafting when I have the time.

I had weight loss surgery on May 9th, 2016 and I am on a path to a healthier new me. That includes learning as I go about how to eat healthier, choose healthier foods, and exercise more.

I am on a mission to spread the wealth of knowledge I am learning as I am on this journey. If it helps someone make a healthier decision then I have done my job.

The title of this page is called WLS Food Police. WLS stands for Weight Loss Surgery and the food police part came about because it is a term used to denote someone who typically says something to someone who has eaten something they shouldn’t have eaten after having weight loss surgery.

I try not to be the “Food Police” on the groups that I am on, but it is hard to watch when people talk about having the surgery to make themselves healthier, and then they are eating cookies and donuts.
